January Quilting Group

The RS Quilt Project Group will meet at the Institute Building (600 South Davis Drive) Friday, January 13th at 9:30 a.m. We are so thrilled with the completion of 7 quilts for donation for 2011. Special thanks to all that helped!

We certainly hope you will be there to help us complete as many quilts as possible this year. Just add the second Friday of each month (January through October) to your new 2012 calendar.

We have a new plan for this year. In the past we concentrated mostly on tying the quilts as the tops were completed beforehand. We have several sisters who want to learn more about starting from scratch so we will be spending several months working on quilt tops and then will have a marathon tying day.
Please come join us!

If you have a sewing machine or scrap cotton fabric feel free to bring them. If not, please don’t let that dissuade you! We will have all necessary supplies available.

Feel free to bring a friend. This is a wonderful chance to visit and work together on this service project.
