RELIEF SOCIETY MEETINGS

• April 10 - Stake RS Service Activity from 8:30-1pm at the Stake Center
• There will be no potluck this month.

OTHER WARD & STAKE EVENTS

• April 1 - Ward Temple Night at 7:30pm
• April 10 - Ward Progressive Dinner from 6-10pm
• April 16 - Stake Conference (Adult Session) at 7pm
• April 17 - Stake Conference at 10am

LUNA MOMS
April 2 - Easter Egg Hunt @ 10:15am
Join us for a HUGE Easter Egg Hunt at the playground at Veterans Park. Bring 2 dozen filled eggs to hide on the playground and then we'll let our kiddos loose to find them and fill their baskets!

April 16 - Fort Worth Zoo @ 10:45am
Let's head to the zoo!! (Weather Permitting) Let's check out the new M.O.L.A.! Bring your lunch or buy one there. Let's show those animals our little animals!

OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS
April 17 - Earth Day Celebration at River Legacy Living Science Center
River Legacy's first Earth Day festival will feature nature walks, guest speakers, live animal observations, story times and a variety of children's activities. Come and learn easy things you can do to be green. FREE!

Schedule:

• Guided Nature Walks: 10:30 am & 1:30 pm
• Animal Observations: 12:30 pm & 2:30 pm
• Guest Speakers: 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm & 2 pm

GARDENING CLINICS

Spring Vegetables & Herbs. March 6 @ 10:15am. Learn how to grow and harvest the best veg­etables and herbs for our area.

Unique Flowers for Landscapes. March 13 @ 10:15am. Learn about new and unusual flowers for your landscape. Select flowers for the landscape featuring annuals that bloom at various times.

Container Gardening Design. March 20 @ 10:15am. Learn about the Texas-favorite, Maverick Geranium. Perfect for Texas gardens and containers. See examples of basic to elaborate container designs featuring this regal plant with large bright blossoms.

Spring Vegetables & Herbs. March 27 @ 10:15am. Learn how to grow and harvest the best veg­etables and herbs for our area.

All gardening clinics are located at Calloway's (off Center and Road to Six Flags) every Saturday at 10:15am. There is no cost to attend.

MOTHER'S GROUP

St. Patrick's Day crafts & snacks. March 17 @ 10:30am at River Legacy Park.
Let's celebrate St. Patrick's Day with crafts, music, and snacks! Please bring a snack to share with everyone! We will meet by the playground. (Turn left, once you pull into the park and drive around until you see the gazebo and playground on the right.)

Fun with Nature at the River Legacy Science Center. March 18 @ 10am.
Join us for a fun day with nature and art. Moms and kiddos will also be able to go out for a "self - guided" nature walk though the beautiful park. Their is no cost for this event. This play date is best suited for children who are 2.5 and older because of the activities.
